A Safe and Reliable Way to Light Your Consumer Fireworks
More than just a cap, our igniters combine with a patented formula to create a burn that reliably lights visco fuse every time. Designed to work with fuses up to 2.5mm, each wire tail is pre-slit for easier separation, ensuring a smooth setup process.
Attention: The Only ATF Non-Regulated Igniter on the Market
Don’t be fooled—while the Safety Explosives Act of 2003 regulates all igniters, after extensive testing and discussions with the ATF, we are proud to offer a non-regulated igniter made specifically for lighting consumer fireworks. In accordance with our patent and ATF agreement, these igniters are only available with blue and white lead wires.
Important Firewire Safety Warning — Read Before Purchase or Use
Firewire Initiators are a flame producing ignition devices that are capable of causing fire, serious injury, or death if misused.
If you have not received formal training, read proper handling guidelines, or taken the time to educate yourself on pyrotechnic safety, do not buy or use this product. This is not a toy. Do not pretend to be a pyrotechnician.
Never handle or install indoors (garage, basement, or any enclosed area)
Install only at the final shoot site — not at home or in transit
DO NOT pre-wire — Firewire is sensitive to impact, friction, and static
Can ignite if dropped, with impact, pinched, pulled, or exposed to flame or static
Do not wear synthetic clothing (nylon, fleece, polyester)
Wear 100% cotton, ground yourself before handling
Avoid static-generating surfaces (tarps, rubber mats, plastic tables)
No drinking before or during setup. If this even crosses your mind, you should not be using Firewire.
Do not insert igniters directly into powder chambers or cakes
Use fuse tubes or manufacturer-exposed fuse points only
Modifying fuse paths violates safety regulations (PHMSA) and increases the risk of misfires, injury, or death
Respect the product. Respect the risks. Use responsibly — or don’t use it at all.
Shipping Information:For smaller orders (less than a case, 30 boxes), we offer a special USPS Ground Advantage shipping option, which eliminates the $60 hazmat fee associated with FedEx. However, this service may take up to 10 business days to arrive, does not include insurance, and tracking updates may not always be consistent. Due to permit restrictions, USPS shipments are not eligible for returns. Please verify all details before placing your order, especially if you’re on a tight timeline.
Time-Critical Orders:
For urgent shipments, FedEx is available, but please note that a $60 hazmat fee will apply for ground shipping, and an adult signature will be required. To upgrade your shipping, simply check the box for "Additional Shipping Cost" at checkout.
For small orders, USPS Parcel Post is the only option available under our special permit. This service generally takes 5-10 business days, does not provide real-time tracking, and does not operate on weekends. The delivery date provided is often inaccurate, and tracking will only show when the package leaves our facility and arrives at yours.
