Make Your Own Composite Starters
We supply the wire and chemicals; you supply the acetone and labor. Create up to 240 composite starters with ease. These starters require 12 volts to fire, and each wire comes with a chip for precise chemical separation. The chips are .15” (3.8mm) in width where soldered to the wires, so please ensure they will fit in your motors. The base of the chip can be trimmed before dipping to fit smaller throats, or it can be completely removed. Just ensure the copper leads don't touch or aren't too far apart, as the mix is conductive.
